Get Golf Ready

Get Golf Ready is designed to teach everything you’ll need to play golf in just a few lessons.

The golf staff will show you that there are lots of ways to play by combining fun, friends and fitness. Each session will focus on the various golf skills you will use while playing. In addition to learning the basics, you will be guided onto the golf course to put your skills into action in a casual, friendly setting.

What You Need to Bring:

Just yourself, a desire to have fun and perhaps a few friends to enjoy the great outdoors. Golf Clubs, balls and other equipment will be provided for your use if you don’t have your own. If you have golf equipment, please bring it with you to use.

Junior Golf Camps

Join the premier junior golf camp in West Chester, PA, our programs are specifically designed to help elevate junior’s game. Camps are led by PGA pros, well known for their ability to teach a technically sound swing, while helping juniors improve their game, easily navigate any golf course and play better and post lower scores all the while having a blast.

Junior Golf Programs

Our Junior Golf Program has grown every year since its inception. Penn Oaks Golf Club encourages young golfers to learn the game at an early age, which increases confidence on and off the golf course.

We offer golf camps, clinics, and individual instruction for children ages 5-18 of any skill level. We also conduct junior golf play days throughout the summer, giving kids the opportunity to play the course in a fun and competitive environment.

Our Junior Golf program is led by Harry Hammond, who is a multiple winner of many Junior Golf Leadership awards and still currently serving on the PGA of America’s National Junior Golf Committee. Harry is a Master U.S. Top 50 Kids Golf Teachers. PGA Head Golf Professional Jesse Hallett, also brings valuable skills to the table as a dedicated junior golf program instructor and winner of the U.S. Kids Golf Top 50 Teachers in 2012. Tom Koenig is the PGA Assistant Golf Professional and also a notable Junior Golf Instructor, having earned his U.S. Kids Golf Instructor certification in 2012 and also a member of the “Top 50 Teachers” club.

Women’s Golf Association: The WGA is a popular association for our female Penn Oaks members. We have a dedicated committee to ensure every facet of the membership experience is exciting and unique. Many of our members make lifelong friends through their participation in the WGA and we take pride in providing entertaining platforms to foster these relationships. Junior Golf Association

Junior Golf Association: Penn Oaks Golf Club has a growing Junior Golf Program and is proud to be the home of Harry Hammond. Hammond has a list of Philadelphia Section PGA honors, Golf Professional of the Year (1991), Junior Golf Leader (1992-1993, 1996, and 1998), and the PGA of America’s National Junior Golf Leader award in 1999. Hammond is also a member of the Philadelphia Section Hall of Fame. Harry currently serves on the PGA of America’s National Junior Golf Committee.

The common goal for Penn Oaks Golf Club and parents alike is to teach the children a game that will last them a lifetime. Golf teaches honesty, patience, perseverance, and companionship which bring parents and their children closer to each other as they spend time practicing and playing.
